Guyana
The project area, located in the OKO Mining District, occupies about 12,000 acres of prime gold property and is adjacent to major mining companies such as: Peter’s Mine; Aremu Mine; and Wariri Mines.
The OKO Property is located in Northern Guyana approximately 90 Kilometers west-southwest of the capital city Georgetown and has a number of medium scale permits around it. The center of the OKO Prospecting License (#05/2020) is approximately UTM 284122 m E by 715350 m N
Climate
Guyana has a seasonal tropical climate with almost uniformly high temperatures and humidity, and much rainfall. Seasonal variations in temperature are slight, particularly along the coast. Locations in the interior, away from the moderating influence of the ocean, experience slightly wider variations in daily temperature, and nighttime readings as log as 12° Celsius have been recorded. Humidity in the interior is also slightly lower, averaging around 60%. Rainfall is heaviest in the northwest and lightest in the Southeast and interior.
